ESAD Autumn/Winter Mini Blog Hop

I made it!!! Yay - Didn't think it was going to happen - but here I am! This is my very first Blog Hop that I have participated in! I have been a member of ESAD for quite some time and have been on many a blog hop, but this time I am 'in it'!! I have chosen to use the stamp set Tea Shoppe (I love it!!) and also to feature the gorgeous satin pleated ribbon (OMG it is to die for!!!).  My colour scheme has been in my head ever since I signed up - Crumb Cake, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride. So.......on to the official stuff and then to share my goodies :-)

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group

Okey Dokey, so you have probably just left the stunning creations of Theresa "Tess" Schirmer, hope you enjoyed visiting her blog.  Now on to what I have been up to :-)

I was planning on doing a folder for some teabags, a few cards and a folder to put them in - well we all know about best laid plans hey!? yep it didn't happen - so I made a box for some teabags and a set of four notecards.  I will over the next couple of weeks endeavour to get a folder made up to put said notecards in! (Will post it here when I am done!)

All the items

Now this box was messing around in my dreams the other night! I have made these boxes before - so quick and easy!! I should have gotten up and made it then! It is basically 2.5" square and fits the boxes of teabags in nice and snugly, cut out a window, strategically place the sentiment to hide to joining of the two boxes (of tea), make a pair standard boxes for top and base and decorate with the gorgeous ribbon :-) If you want the measurements for these just email me and I will be happy to send them on. I have attempted a 'rosette' on the top, but will have to play a bit more as it is coming apart. (it's my first attempt). Now the cards.  They are all the size of the Notecards (107311) in the catty on page 126.

First card off the rank

Card number two was inspired by a card I found while searching for inspiration at Sweetest Designs, I basically just used the embossing folder idea and then made the rest my own.

Number three! Trying to make sure I use all the stamps in the set :-)

Finally number four!
I ended up using 9/10 of the stamps!!

So that is it for my projects, I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog and hope you pop back one day :-) and remember to leave a comment on each blog you visit on the hop as we all love to receive some comment love!! Now it is time for you to hop on over to visit Michelle Halling's blog - Have fun :-)

  1. Guess what!! I have discovered this morning that if you don't make the rosette right or use strong enough adhesive it will come undone if it wants to AND will fling itself across the room in the middle of the night!!
Lesson learned - ne attempts happening today!! It will not beat me!!
